Frequently Asked Questions

Planning new floors or a bathroom update? These answers explain how to get started with Pyramid Flooring Systems and what to discuss before your project begins.

Where is Pyramid Flooring Systems located?
Our showroom is at 624 Cantrill Dr, Davis, CA 95618. Call (530) 330-0386 or use our website to request a consultation. Please arrange an appointment before visiting so we can give your project dedicated attention.
Do I need an appointment to visit the showroom?
Please schedule an appointment. This helps us reserve time to discuss your needs and compare products with you. If you stop in while we are working with another customer, there may be a wait. Calling ahead is the best way to plan your visit.
Can I shop for flooring at home?
Yes. Request a shop-at-home appointment through our website. After an initial phone consultation and appointment confirmation, we can bring samples to your home so you can compare options in your own lighting and alongside your existing finishes.
What flooring products can I browse?
Our online catalog includes carpet, hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl, and tile, along with additional specialty categories. If you have a particular brand or style in mind, contact us to confirm current availability and discuss options for your project.
Do you provide flooring installation?
Yes. We provide flooring installation and discuss the work involved as part of your project planning. Let us know about your existing floors, the rooms you are updating, and any related remodeling so we can evaluate the scope before preparing an estimate
How much will my flooring project cost?
Your total depends on the material, installation requirements, existing flooring, and condition of the surface underneath. Removal, floor preparation, trim, and tax can affect the final amount. Request an estimate based on your space, and ask which costs are included in each quoted price.
Is a price per square foot the full project price?
It depends on what that price includes. A material price may exclude installation, while an installed price may still exclude removal, floor preparation, baseboards, or tax. We can explain the separate parts of your estimate so you can compare the complete scope and understand the total.
Can you help me compare flooring for my household?
Yes. Tell us about pets, children, busy rooms, cleaning preferences, and the look you want. We can discuss suitable options and the specific product information that matters for your home. Bring inspiration photos and let us know which features are most important to you.
Can I preview flooring in a photo of my room?
Yes, eligible products in our online catalog have a “See in My Room” button. Open a product you are interested in and select that button to use the room visualizer. Availability varies by product. Reviewing a physical sample is also helpful before making your final selection.
Do you offer bathroom remodeling and countertops?
Yes. In addition to flooring, we handle bathroom remodeling and countertop projects. That can include shower renovations, tub-to-shower conversions, bathroom tile, kitchen countertops, and backsplashes. Share the full scope of your plans so we can discuss the work and coordination your project requires.
Should I remodel my bathroom before installing nearby flooring?
If both are part of your plans, discuss them together before scheduling. Changes to the layout, plumbing, or surrounding finishes can affect the flooring work. We can help plan the order of work for your project so new flooring is installed at an appropriate stage.
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
Timing depends on the scope, material availability, inspections, and conditions uncovered during demolition. We discuss an expected schedule for your specific project. Finalizing selections and confirming materials before work begins helps with planning, but changes or unexpected conditions can affect the timeline.
Do you work outside Davis?
Yes. Contact us about projects in Woodland, Sacramento, West Sacramento, Vacaville, and nearby communities. Provide your address and describe the work you need so we can confirm whether your project falls within our service area and discuss appointment availability.
What should I have ready for my consultation?
Bring room photos, inspiration images, any product names you like, and a general budget and timeline. Tell us about other planned work, such as bathroom or countertop updates. You do not need every detail decided before reaching out; the consultation is a starting point for planning.
